After my fall down at Roebling, I noticed my bike did not shut off like it should have. 2016 R6 with the yec ecu. Tip sensor is hooked up. My question is, should the tip sensor have shut the bike off, or is the yec ecu using the tip sensor and wires for something different? My kick stand wiring is used for the quick shifter thru the ecu, but I really can't determine if my tip sensor is. Or is it just faulty? Thanks 97
I don't know if it actually uses it but the wiring diagram for the 2010 shows connection #64 as a lean angle sensor. I found this manual when I was helping a friend out with his R6, wiring diagram is last page: https://www.r6fanatic.com/docs/R6/2010_R6_Kit_Manual_English.pdf
I've seen the TO sensor fail. I've also seen it installed clocked incorrectly. There should be a test for it in the manual.
