R6 Kit harness with OEM ECU?

Is it possible to use a stock oem ecu on an R6 with a kit harness?

 

no the harness is pinned differently

 

its possible. FTECU knows hows. im running that config on my bike, but didnt install it so I don't know much more.

 

Just requires a flash with that harness in mind. FTecu does it, not sure of others.

 

If you don’t flash (easiest option) you can swap around the pins as well.

 

Which pins?

 

Get the wiring diagram, I don’t have it handy. I just got done doing a diagram wiring a 14 R6 to Motec CDL3, bit of a pain to do that clean but it will be.

 

I remember seeing a while back a tutorial about pins to swap to use a yec ecu with a stock harness and it had instructions for US & EUROPE bikes. Just don't remember what it was and if it would just be to reverse that. No sure if the actual yec harness has something different.
