How about the explanation being paranormal activity? Just because you can't see the spirits, the empirical data might show it. I suspect that there are spirits/entities at work.

Because there have been a buhzillion times where suspected ghost activity has been shown to be something else and not once has it been shown to be a ghost. I'll keep going with the odds.

But there have been plenty of times, maybe not a buhzillion, where it has not been explained as something natural. So those times could be a ghost or other paranormal phenomenon. To claim that the unknown or unexplained didn't happen is to just have a closed mind to the possibilities. It could be a ghost and I think it is, because I want Alicia to have one. Clancy might be right.

My mind isn't closed but find me one scintilla of evidence of spirits. Actual evidence, not just people having no idea what something is...

Check the USGS for listing of earthquakes. Georgia had a M 2.7 yesterday. You can feel anything under 3 but your building is moving.

Don’t you think everything else in the house would be moving too then. And explain the fan turning on at 4am by itself

Remote control fan is picking up a command frequency from one of your neighbors remotes, ie: another fan remote, garage door opener....

Change the DIP settings on your fan and remote and that ghost is gone :D

My best friend grew up in a haunted house. When they initially bought it they knew previous homeowners died in the house but enough weird things were happening they went to the county historian for more info. Some of the apparitions they were seeing around the house were popular cases in the local newspapers. My friends dad the single-most bone-chilling moment of his life was seeing the photo of a little girl hit by a train in our town back in the 1920's whose photo matched a girl they were seeing around the house, down to the dress.

The stories of that house and things seen and heard were pretty crazy. My friend ended up with the house (his mom died when we were 14 and dad when we were 18 from injuries he got on 9/11). He sold it because it was becoming too much.

    It was crazy.
    It was real.
My brother was one of the top-historians in the country, famous, well regarded by his peers, including Steven Ambros (Saving Private Ryan/ Band of Brothers) who publicly stated/wrote that my brother was the Best Veitnam Historian and Author.
My brother was not a story teller, BS'r, he was an academic/historian. He had as many stories as me, and we also experienced/saw physical activity many times together (as kids). And it was all bad.
Whoever was in that house did Not like children. Never anything when parents were home or awake.
Parents leave: footsteps up/down basement steps. Heavy Solid Oak doors doing 180's and Slamming right in front of you, waking up to find my Fearless Jack Russell literally shaking in fear in a corner (constantly), etc, etc, etc. The more details I Could give, the less believable it would be. So I not say much. Far worse than anything I publicly post.
I post any thing on the Beeb, but I not post that shit/details.

Ghost? Entity? Energy? Whatever it was, it was raw Fng Evil.
Im done w this thread, bad memories
