I'm confused. Aren't we talking about the rather dubious but largely irrelevant awarding of a Freedom medal to Rush Limbaugh? Suddenly, I see not just the race card, but the whole damn deck. Why?

Anyone involved in the disaster that is Washington D.C. I mean I get having an opinion about things but quite frankly nothing they do beyond taxation impacts me to any real degree that has an affect on my day to day existence. Local government however is a different story. I'm just wondering why the yelling at the sky is such a large part of everyone's day. Mostly I'd like to know how the shuffling of idiots around that place impacts others.

I have. I am under no illusion that racism is dead, although I see less of it in my everyday life than I did as a young man. I don't personally think that Limbaugh has done anything worthy of being awarded this particular honor, but ascribing Trump's having done so to racism seems a bit contrived.

And every one of them was claiming they were the words of the president.

Oddly, no one can give us a direct quote or a sound bite of Trump saying those things.
