damn! that is sad. prayers sent for brett. makes my crappy times lately seem like a dream world everybody be safe this weekend
So sorry to hear about this , Prayers sent . I've never met Brett but had seen him around the 29Dreams moto shop often
Brett has been stabilized. He was in surgery until late last night. He is still unconcious and does not know it has has happened. One of the FBR members posted that the hospital wants to keep him sedated until this weekend and then do some backup surgery of some sort, I'm unsure. From what I've heard Brett was not at fault, but that's not 100% The accident involved an SUV in Brett's lane. Keep your prayers coming...
Brett was so pumped about this coming weekend since he was planning on doing the Bargy school on Friday and race later in the weekend. He was asked all the usual newbie questions this week and wanted to make sure he could put his bike somewhere at the track so it wouldnt freeze, etc. I was looking forward to helping him thru his first weekend with the WERA crew. He's a great responsible kid and a good rider who did it right by doing trackdays with us and slowly improved until he was a downright good rider - damn.
