Joe went down very hard In T1 during practice yesterday at Roebling. As of last night he had a broken femur, several broken ribs, and spinal issues. They have surgery scheduled this morning for the spine issue. His wife is there at Memorial General in Savannah and Charles is keeping track at the hospital as well as he lives close by. The injuries are very serious - please keep Joe in your prayers.
Wow....sounds worst then when we talk at the track....keep us up to date on him if you would Jim....wish him the best.....

New England guy pulling for you brother...Prayers ongoing for Joe and family... Hang tough man!!!!! Pete
UPDATE: Joe is in stable condition following his spinal fusion operation, and breathing with the help of a ventilator...he is in very capable hands in that ICU, the staff is very attentive and of course everything is closely monitored. After progress is evaluated, he will have the operation to repair the broken right femur...there has been no indication so far about the specific course of treatment for his broken ribs. Joe's wife, mother, and sister are there at the hospital, so he has a very good support team...I will visit him tomorrow. ***yesterday, the first thing Joe said when he knew I was there was: "How's the bike?" ***
