My son has two poly kayaks that need some attention and it's become obvious that if it's going to get done, I'll have to do it. I want to hang them up someplace and I can't hang dirty kayaks, for chrissake.
Any special products or techniques? Preservatives or protectants of any kind? Anything to avoid?
I assume a pressure washer is okay?

A beaver attacked my kayak last year when we were going down Flint Creek.

    That’s my story.

Start walking towards it with a belt sander with 60 grit on it, and your son will clean it himself.

She laughed. Quite hard, actually. She said I was making a big deal out of nothing...

    Just like our wedding night.

Get a pump sprayer and some degreaser from the hardware store.

Dilute to the instructions with water.

Spray on and brush lightly with a broom.

    Rinse off.
