Help my Aprilia RS250 gas tank sprung a leak. I can't get a new tank in time for TGPR and I need to repair this one. The gas tank is made of nylon. Anyone have advice on repairing it, adhesives, plastic welding, who could do it in the Atlanta or southeast?

Also at Roebling someone had an advertisement on their car for a place called the Plastic Dr., a name and number to reach him would be appreciated.

Please don't make me take my old 750SS ducati out of retirement [IMG]

I'm no expert on nylon gas tanks, but my first thought would be to take some fiberglass resin and a $.50 Walmart disposable 1" paint brush. Don't forget the hardener, of course. Try painting the area up real good with the resin (it dries clear) and see if it holds.

Just a thought. I could be wrong. I've been wrong before. I'll be wrong again.
