What are those actually called so I can find some that are 8ft high and 10ft wide
I need to order for 2 doors for our shop. Any suggestions for best quality, and best for keeping the AC in?

I don't think the plastic keeps the cold air in as much as the blower above the door does.

The strips do a good job. Even better if you put 2 sets on. One on each side of the door opening. That way you have an air gap between them. That is how we had our doors set up on our meat tempering room at the chili plant that I worked at. The two curtains had a little over 1 foot of air gap between them.

Quick edit. The blowers are more for keeping bugs from flying into the doors.

air curtains (the blower above the door) do not do anything for keeping it warm or cold in a space, they are for insects as mentioned above.

I’ve also installed them to keep air circulating over a door entry to keep the doors from icing up.

Prolly not much of an issue in socal. ;)
