Anyone out there with the Pitbull trailer restraint system set up for a first gen SV -- can you comment on how well it works on a solid rear axle? Come to think of it, I am also considering one for my wife's EX250 as well? Any insight would be appreciated.
How different is the 1st and 2nd gen axles? My 2nd gen has a pin for one end and a large socket for the other.
You will be kicking yourself for not doing it sooner - it is by FAR the ONLY way to trailer a gen1...
It works fine with solid rear axle bikes. Been using one on the Honda F3 the last two years. Use them on both my 1st gen SV650's and also on the 09 Ninjette. No issues what-so-ever. It may seem a little confusing how it works at first but the first time you install one it'll make perfect sense.
+1 on the thumbs up. First time I used mine , I TRIED to get the bike to fall over. They are great. Money well spent.
Thanks for all the replies. It seemed a bit silly questioning PitBulls capacity to well-engineer something. Everything else I have of theirs is a brick house.
