People In Cold Climates: Car Q

I'll be nearby in a few weeks. Hopefully it won't be too bad at that time.

 

I’m always in rental cars now a days when I’m crap weather but you just drive with common sense even if the people around you don’t.

 

I was in IN/OH last week and missed most of the bad weather, and dodged a bullet with the car. It sat for a few days in OH while I attended a conference. The evening before my departure, battery wasn't strong enough to start the car. Thankfully, the battery booster I brought took care of the issue.

One city I visit in IL will reach a low of -27 this Wednesday morning. Thankfully I am now in Pasadena California, where today's high will be 77.

And yes Wednesdays high here is forecast to be something like minus 15F.....
Most of my customers aren't opening...but I may still go I and work.

 

Good luck with this, y'all that are up there. I can't imagine the experience.

I felt -20F a few years ago and it was the worst day of my life.

I also took delivery of my bike the other night and it was 8 degrees, snow/ice on the ground etc. Tires were glazed over and like rocks. Almost dropped it on the parking lot just getting it to the garage
