    I am way opposed to every soldier being armed. Way way way opposed. You know the training is night and day different between battle and policing. They're just fine getting into drunken fistfights not gunfights :D

    I was pretty surprised that the SP's don't handle security at NAS Pensacola and off base deputies responded. I don't think every pilot training needs a handgun but if they want to be trained right and do so then they should be able to. As should anyone standing guard duty (the standing watch thing mentioned I think is different than actual guard duty).
