I just accidentally bought a jar of unsalted peanuts. Any hacks to make them edible? Sea salt in the jar and shake it up? Olive oil and oregano? Help me out!

Smash em and make a sandwich. Or heat them up in a frying pan and create something.

Yeah, my wife suggested a stir-fry, but I'm not a hippy.

Glaze with maple syrup. Quarter cup to one cup nuts. Medium heat, when bubble, turn down to slow bubble for sixish minutes. Stir time to time. When syrup mostly evaporated, stir and watch more, when start to clump up, done. Spread out on sheet, sprinkle with kosher salt. Eat when cool, over salad, etc.

On the bottom shelf, at the very bottom of the label on a small yellow banner with tiny self loathing little white letters was "unsalted." How TF was I supposed to read that whilst answering my 7 y.o.'s "Why does mommy make us wear these masks to the store?" and me trying to figure out a damn online coupon to reduce the Latuda $700 copay?! I regert nothing!

Except the peanut purchase, I guess.

    Spicy Buffalo Roasted Peanuts

    Ingredients
    • 3 cups raw/blanched peanuts
    • 3 tbsp melted butter
    • 3 tbsp hot sauce
    • 3 tsp cayenne pepper
    • 1 1/2 tsp salt
    • 1 tsp garlic powder
    Instructions
    • Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
    • Mix butter, hot sauce and spices together.
    • In a bowl, toss peanuts with the buffalo sauce mixture until evenly coated.
    • Spread the peanuts across a baking sheet and bake in a 350F oven for 15-20 minutes. Remove when they are slightly underdone. Do not over bake the peanuts as they will continue to cook once removed from the oven.

As others said, glaze them in a skillet and get creative. A little "Slap Ya Mama's" hot (or regular cajun depending on palate) seasoning makes some good garage beer drinking snacks.

Some Thai recipes call for peanuts.

There’s a Payday candy bar recipe that you can make that uses marshmallows, peanut butter chips , peanuts and I can’t recall the other ingredients. A pretty good recipe.
