The kid has started getting a bit more serious about Volleyball and now wants a practice ball for around the house. I know nothing about these things and started looking at them the last few days and got lost (and lazy) while looking at the options. Practice balls, beach, indoor, outdoor, tons of little little differences. I know there has to be a few people who know what I need to look for. I want good but don't want to spend a ton of cash. She plays indoor and is pretty much beginner level and may play rec league. What do I look for? Just more sports shit to haul around in the Milfwagon. Lacrosse sticks, field hockey sticks, fold out chairs, cleats, my crap, Sam's crap. Pretty soon I'll need a damn trailer to haul behind just to fit it all in.
Just texted a girl I’ve been seeing who coaches all levels of volleyball. She said for youth they buy Mikasa “Starter One” balls. They’re durable enough, synthetic, and only about $20, according to her.
You're gonna use the kid excuse again? Just like lacrosse, you're the one who wants to play indoor volleyball. Got your knee pads yet?
I would take her sweaty crack shorts and drape them across my face. Take it all in. Then we would make mad love on the white sand beaches.
This, we've been following two daughters for the last 15 years, great sport. My youngest just finished her Freshman year at a small upstate SC college on a full ride, Volleyball=Good! If she wants to be a setter get her a setters practice ball. If she starts outdoor she will need a Spalding King of the Beach. Been around the game most of my life so ask away. I believe we are FB friends, check out the pictures there, I don't know how to post them here.
