My son did the mini 50 at NL in May and at the GNF at Barber last year on an NSR 50. He had a blast and is hooked, he now favors asphalt over flat track. He also raced in the Talent Cup last month and we bought his 160 and trains on that. I thought about bringing it up to NL at the end of the month however I question the motor's durability on a big track because it's so new.

From what I understand from Brandon, Ohvale has gearing recommendations for big tracks.

 

just make sure all you dads have bottled water at the ready in case someone needs a Dasani to the temple after the cool down lap

 

Interesting. I'll reach out to him and see what's available. I geared the NSR50 for Barber and he was chasing down Groms. My old age got the better of me at Nelson's and had forgot to gear it. He came back in from practice and said he was bored outta his mind.

 

Dasani? Might as well drink from the spigot.

 

Throwin water doesnt have to taste good, just needs good aerodynamics.

Is there a difference in dimensions between the 160 and 190?
