Ohlins superbike fork differences

Hi, i was looking at an older set of ohlins fg 670 forks and was wondering how they compare to the newer gas forks? (like to the fgr 700, 900 or even the gas carts they offer now)
At one point these were the elite level of forks but has technology moved forward so much that the drop in carts are better and would not be worth picking up a set?
