That was me this morning, but with a nut........I dropped a 10mm carb mounting nut for our cb125s. Yep, 5 stressful minutes trying to find a nut that camoflaged in with the concrete and ended up being "right there"
Clean you damned shop. Btw.... If you ever want to unload one of those.... I might be interested. I have plans.
It wasn't even in my garage. We were outside on a clean concrete pad,and the stupid effer just blended right in. We only have one cb125 left.............the others were sold/traded for fzr stuff. The 13 year old girly may be using this one for timonium flatrack anyways.
I've always wanted to figure out the stator thing and put a bbr kitted xr100 motor in one . Do the 17s and go cause trouble around town. I had a cl125 for a bit and it was a blast to do wheelies on but needed more power. The Pistons and everything are different on the cb/cl/sl. It's been a few years, but I just recently found some old cl stuff.
I had a CB125 with a 185 engine bolted in. About 15 minutes with a die grinder on the RH frame (around the clutch housing). PLENTY of power after that
