Nope ... octagon shaped cabin with half glass on all sides and a 360 degrees deck and railing so it looks like a lighthouse.. and add two additional levels inside vertical tube would be my choice

 

I think it looks great. Would be a little concerned if it's in Tornado Alley, but I guess if there was a storm shelter at the bottom at least you'd have a place to go as your home goes sailing off into the distance like a Jack Nicklaus drive.
