Any cover Joe Cocker ever done did , The box tops "Letter" stands out with Ringos " With a lil help from my friends " a close second .
I dream of a better world in which chickens can cross the road without having their motives questioned.
Don’t forget his cover of Nina Simone’s “ Don’t Let Me Be Misunderstood” and Dylan’s “I Shall Be Released”. Like you said, just about anything he covered.
Just heard seven nation army sung by Haley Reinahrt with the post-modern Junkies. Really fun to listen to/ watch. I will definately look for more of her stuff. Another cool one believe it or not is holiday in the sun covered by hayseed dixie.
Oh thank you, thank you, for this! I stumbled across her some time ago and stupidly jotted her name down on some scrap of paper which got discarded and now she is here again.
I think we have done this before. Frankie Goes to Hollywood's cover of "Born To Run" is great. Holly doesn't sound like he's stroking out like the original singer did.
