Seeing lots of speculation that this was an act of Islam. This is bolstered by multiple acts of recent religious site damage and vandalism committed by migrants across France as well as the arrest of a Muslim woman attempting to bomb the cathedral just days ago. Additionally, pictures of Muslims laughing and celebrating the event don't bode well for maintaining their peaceful veneer.

We know that if this is the case it will be hidden so the narrative of Muslim as victim can continue.

I find it odd how quickly the leftist defenders of Islam started defending on this one. It was damn close to preemptive. Odd.

All organized religion is fucked up and dangerous.

People who believe they’re doing god’s will can rationalize literally any action they choose, and blame it on god.

And if you question their motives or beliefs, they attack you for not having faith. Which is just one-word way of saying “i believe in something not only in the absence of all evidence, but even in spite of any evidence to the contrary.”

There are a lot of perfectly wonderful humans who identify as religious, but i think they’re all pretty arrogant to believe that their theological belief system is the only one who got everything 100% correct.

    Thanks, but no thanks.

Evidently, Youtube made the terrorist connection.

Hasn't French authorities already dismissed any terrorist speculation before even starting their investigation??? LOL!

They certainly do things differently there.

Yes, they were lightening quick to tell us what it was not.

Most of us don’t think that. We believe that there is something out there greater than ourselves and do the best we can to be better because of it. We know that we are flawed.

I just watched a newscast saying that they don't know how the fire started but they know it wasn't arson or terrorism.

Pretty sure it was a right wing extremist that shot the place up with an assault rifle using incendiary rounds that sparked it up.
Most likely used a bump stock too.
