http://www.motorcycle.com/events/world-moto-clash-preannounced-90224.html You gotta love this bit: “For $100,000, I can build a bike that’s faster than any MotoGP bike,” Crane claimed.
In a straight line sure. I can get a GSXR 1000 built by KWS that will be faster than a Moto GP bike, but it won't turn nearly as well.
In thinking about this, I find the combination of no rules and Ruben Xaus free of any rider commitments as a little foreboding.
All I have to say is Formula USA presented by wrenchhead.com. Sure, they weren't backed by the producer of such cinematic classics as Top Gun and Beverly Hills Cop 2, but it's not like it wasn't tried before.
Not even close to the same thing no matter how much people wanted to believe the neutered version of FUSA was viable. It was much more like the proposed show when we ran it, 2 wheels, 1 motor, that's it for the rules.
That made for a hell of a show too. And some interesting match-ups, not to mention great racing. I think this new version of no restriction racing is going to be great!
I was referring to the wrenchhead money for the PACE version and how prizes too big to be real probably are. Even though I may not have been clear on that. The original was pretty sweet. Of course, I only got to read about 900RR turbo's racing 7-11's with NOS and GP bikes all together.
I'm betting it never even happens. Or if it does, lap times will still be slower than regular pro times. ...just sayin.
Snore. What a colossal load of crap. That was a painful read. Dude's delusional, full of shit, all of the above. Take your pick.
