What is your other hobby besides racing : I will start: Ham radio operator Woodworking soon to be: Glass fusion
RC You name it I've had one... helicopters, boats, hover craft, paraplanes, submarines, cars, motorcycles...
Preparing for next year. Playing with my kids. Doing whatever my wife tells me to do. Not necessarily in that order.
Playing music, usually alternative or country. No classic (Jurassic) Rock, been there, tired of it...
Well I don't race, but... I really have no other passion. I am completely engulfed by this motorcycle "thing". I have gotten so burned out on it, and tired to dump it so many times. It's like crack. You pick it up again. Usually the next day. I guess the only other thing that I enjoy is fast cars. Working, driving, and drooling over them. But they're just a cheap substitude compared to a motorcycle.
Play guitar, write, arrange & record music Read (Got a list of authors I've never read to go through....going through Heinlein right now. Just read "Job, a Comedy of Justice", "Red Planet", and "The Moon is a Harsh Mistrees." Today I picked up "Revolt in 2100", "Methuselah's Children", and "Stranger in a Strange Land". I like his stuff; I wish I had ready it a lot sooner.) Computer games (WC3, Neverwinter Nights, re-playing some of the old Infocom texties right now.)
First, spending time with my family. Second, making fun little motorcycle racing/riding movies for download on the net Gonna be making a new one soon, maybe I'll post it over here for the true racers to scrutinize...err...compliment.
3 flights, 3 terminal crashes (longest lasted 30 seconds). I found it cheaper to just fly real airplanes. Last car I had was Kyosho Optima. That was also some time ago
Spending time with my kids. Fishing. (Freshwater fly and spin). Taking my daughters fishing, which really means eating peanut butter and jelly sandwiches while sitting on the tailgate of my truck near a river. (Heaven on earth).
After I give up racing, I'll probably start getting real serious about the taking my daughters fishing (oldest is three, just caught her first bluegill on fly). I figure the biggest problem is figuring out to affix a sponsorship sticker on a peanut butter and jelly sandwich. Does Peter Pan pay contingency? Is it only for the Extra-Crunchy?
