NJMP Memorial Day Weekend Schedule

    Hey Mongo, is the NJMP weekend going to be Saturday/Sunday or will it roll into Monday as well? Didn't see the schedule posted on the WERA homepage yet so figured I would ask here :D

    Saturday trackday/ endurance.
    Sunday wera national and air show.
    As far as I know anyway..

    So far it's trackday/practice Friday, endurance Saturday and Nationals Sunday? I didn't think anything was scheduled for Monday just wanted to confirm.

    Same setup for PIRC, NJMP, and VIR - trackday Friday, Endurance Saturday, National and Sportsman Sprints Sunday. Jersey will be a little different due to the lunch break being based around the airshows.

    I've got the schedule done, need to double check it and I'll get it posted.

    Is a team required to sign up for the endurance? I wanted to sign up mainly for an extended period of seat time but was told that last year you couldn't sign up as an individual. Mongo can you please let me know if I'm allowed to do this solo or not? Thank you

    You are not allowed to use the endurance race as practice or race it solo.

    The 2 hour ULW one you can do solo but not the 4 hour.

    Friday signup will be through N2. Endurance through us here in the office. Form is here - http://maps.wera.com/pdfs/forms/endur.pdf Ignore the frame numbers part. You don't need all the riders listed or signed to enter, we can handle that at the track. Just need to get the team/owner/class/bike info. And payment of course :D

    Chapter 10 section 5 of the rule book...

    "A Team can not be a single rider in races longer than two (2) hours and riders attempting to enter endurance events longer than two (2) hours for the purposes of practice only will not be allowed. If it becomes obvious during an event that a rider is only using an event longer than two (2) hours for practice or has no co-rider, that rider will be black flagged, disqualified and removed from the event at the discretion of the Race Director..."

    $495 for 4-hour and $295 for 2-hour with small (ultralight weight) bike race...

    Can anyone recommend some good hotels in the area? I will have my wife and kids along, so it will need to be somewhat nice.
