I wonder is this going to replace the Ninja 400 or will they keep both in the line-up. They definitely appear to target slightly different audiences I would think.

 

Doubt it. The 400 is still an entry level beginner bike with nearly half the price tag of this ZX-25R. The torque curve of the 400 is more street friendly than what I imagine the 25R will have.

Plus, there is no guarantee this bike will make it to the US.

 

The way I see it, the Ninja 400 is the budget entry level bike, where the ZX-25R is trying to be the modern version of the RS250. The forks look undersized on the diameter from the pics, but at least they are USD forks.

 

Thinking about it, the only issue is that it will suck at a TD

 

WSS 300 currently doesnt allow more than 2cyls.

100% on this. The 848 is legal for MW/SS in some orgs but the bike is trash at race pace. Fire breathing motor but the tranmission is shit and chassis is hot garbage.
