NHL Playoffs, did I miss the thread?

Ok that was funny.

 

I've been keeping this one in my back pocket for a while:

 

The Wild are doing a fantastic job of upholding MN sports tradition. Record setting season, then lose their way into the playoffs, and now are looking to get broomed by the freaking Blues.

So much lame...

 

Oh c'mon, the MN lady basketballers are like the winningest team no one's ever seen.

 

I really should have prefaced that with "men's".

If it weren't for the wimminz sports, Minnesotan's wouldn't have anything to hang their hat on.

Maybe the Loons will win something.

At least Chitcago finally scored a goal . Loving every minute of that series.

Toronto is surprising me with how well they are playing Wash. That's a rough team to go 3 with, especially in the playoffs. Hope Toronto can pull it out. In my view, Pens are going to win it all if Wash gets beat. That's probably the only team that can stop them. And how about Marc Andre?? Coming on off the bench he has been outstanding!!

The damn Rangers need to shake things up in that organization.

 

How 'bout them predators! man that was an exciting game last night... and ended way past my bedtime...

 

All 4 games last night went to OT, first time thats ever happened I think. The Preds spot the Blackocks 2 goals and they still cant win, hahahahah

 

Bruins rolled over in OT again.
Toronto helping the Caps do their usual playoffs gag.
Preds gave Chicago a chance and then closed the door.
Jackets and Wild about to cave.
Ducks are killing "Johnny Hockey".
The sleepers in all of this are the Oilers.

Love the playoffs.

 

Someone needs to rub aloe vera on that burn.

 

Long night for us Blackhawk fans. As I have always said they need to learn to play rough as Nashville just man handles them. Don't understand why he sits some of the 4th line guys that actually are physically guys they help the hawks in situations like these. Only call that I think that got blown was the goalie interference.

And I thought the NCAA Mens Basketball brackets were 'tough'.

 

I think they said it's happened 4 times in history but the last time was like 1988 or something

 

If he would have been in the crease I totally agree, but based on the rule if he's outside the crease, incidental contact is allowed.
" Incidental contact with a goalkeeper will be permitted, and resulting goals allowed, when such contact is initiated outside of the goal crease, provided the attacking player has made a reasonable effort to avoid such contact."

It definitely was close though.

 

Nashville has had a high number of goals re-called this year, so I see this as payback for a few of those being BS. It was very close but you could clearly see he was not in the paint, but i was still very surprised we got that call. Either way no way anyone can deny Nashville wants it more and will hustle their ass off to get it done, even with less "talent" as they say.

 

The end of that Bruins game in OT was total BS...all i have to say.
