Whaaaaaaaaaaaaat?!? A G23 is a hugenormous weapon for C&C. If he can pull it off, good on him. I don't ever carry my P07, I'm more comfortable with my P226 if I feel the need to carry 46 rounds.
Glocks are great, but best combat handgun ever...that would be a wildly bold claim (I also own and have shot glocks in every single caliber available). Quality has definitely dropped off the charts for glocks in recent years...lots of comparable/better options out there these days available from Sig, HK, FN, Walther, springfield, S&W, etc. etc. I will say I still love glocks due to the wonderful aftermarket options
I've been carrying one since 1998, including 4 years in the sandbox. I stand by my biased opinion....
Compared to a full duty belt, or level IV body armor with all kinds of crap attached to molle, I don't even know it's there.
Nice.. I'm just waiting for the gun show to come back into town so I can pick up some ammo at a good price.
Most non war combat situations are close range.... wich gun do you have does not affect much the equation, your skills and reactions are.... when I had a gun (2 things you regret selling a gun and a bike) I had a springfield sub compact and the trainer had me for hours just to unholster and aim, repeat, unholster and aim... just my 2 cents.
