As mentioned prior, Jason Statham would probably be a good Bond.... I'd throw Benedict Cumberbatch (sp?) into the hat as well. Then again, if Keanu Reeves was a few years younger I think he could've owned that role.
He's not British but Joel Kinnamen would be good. For the guy who mentioned Cavill, he was actually lined up to be Bond before Craig but the deal fell through. He still would be great in the role.
Dude... hell yes. He’d be great. I can’t see Hardy. He’s too... rough, too unpolished. Great actor, but I just don’t think Bond suits him. The scene in Inglorious Bastards in the bar after his cover is blown has me thinking Fassbender would be a good fit.
The Rock is the best suggestion. English people play American parts these days, no reason it can't go the other way. Then again, I haven't seen a bond film worth a shit since the Connery days.
Good lord. The Rock? Seriously? Makes some entertaining movies, but good fucking grief. This Bond, not Faster and furiouser.
Too obviously good looking? You have to blend in, glide through. Having all the eyes in the room clapped on you when you walk into it is I don't think a desirable characteristic for a spy. Maybe they can rough him up some though, he's a good age...
They let Timothy Dalton and Pierce Brosnan try that role. Keanu can play smooth pretty well (Constantine, Replacements, Point Break, Speed, etc) . He wasn't always Neo or John Wick.
they need a better vision overall with these new 007s to bring back the Sean C. humor... maybe Quentin Tarantino as director? or maybe that was Albert R. Broccoli's doings as the producer.. Michael Fassbender would be sick as said earlier. "this is no time to be rescued" type 1 liners
