Right. The volcano rocket launchsite in You Only Live Twice was super believable. That character defines erudite. I think he'd be great. Of course, the two of us are the only ones here he would recognize him.
No, you weren't, that was flat out obnoxious. And wrong. Endeavour Morse is erudite as a defining characteristic. But Shaun Evans is not right for the role. Back on track. What do we think about Paul Bettany?
Well, sorry you feel that way. It was meant in jest due to prevailing tastes in media here. But as long as we are being sensitive to wrongness, that comma should be a semicolon.
No, but methinks that's a cultural reference I am not privy to, thereby cementing my fate to the halls of highbrow tastes. I am going to quite while I am behind, and sneak back to the GP threads. I do hope the new Bond carries on with the development of the character's darker side, and we don't see a return to camp, but that's just me.
Will Ferrell is not funny. He's just another SNL spaz case doing the same shit that Farley, Sandler, Spade etc....did. Only much worse.
Fixed. “Funny” is a matter of opinion. For example, I don’t think Jim Carrey is funny at all, and I hated SNL. To me, all of those people are trying way too hard to be funny, and just come off stupid. But Will’s movies, Talladega Nights, Anchorman, Step Brothers, etc, are funny as hell to me.
Meh...Ferrell was funny once or twice, but he plays the same character every time. The novelty is gone. Same with Carrey, and Sandler.
