Netflix. What to watch?

Do NOT watch the new Will Ferrell Netflix movie..........what a steaming pile of horseshit that was.

Just finished The King of Staten Island. I really liked it, and I'm still in shock that I did. Fucking neighbors partying all night and I fully expected to take a nap during the movie.

 

I got about half way through dark s3 last night.. I've been hooked on this show some the first season..I loooove how they line the dates up to real time..

Great sci fi time travel which I usually completely hate. But the casting and writing is amazing.. the 3rf and I think last season is shaping up to be super cool so far.

 

Was about to start watching the second season but its been a while since we watched the first season so I think we are going to have to go back and watch it again. You have to pay real attention to what is going on in each episode or you'll get completely lost but it is well worth it.

 

Dark being apparently a German series.

Dubbed of sub-titled?

 

I think you can chose, I hate dubbing so I always watch stuff that isn't in English with subtitles.

Don't know if anyone else has mentioned this...but watch the first 10 minutes of a show called "Love"

I think NBC is pulling all their stuff from Netflix tonight and starting up their streaming channel: Peacock. Dammit. We were in season 5 of Cheers.

 

I’m kind of biased because I love everything Judd Apatow does, but it’s a really good show. It’s not as funny as some of his movies but I’ve watched all three seasons and still like it.

 

Eurovision with Will Farrell is not horrible.

 

Dubbed version only, unfortunately.....

 

I find that hard to believe. He is horrible. IMHO of course, YMMV.

 

Eurovision as in the annual music contest? Good Lord, somebody thought it's not bad enough on its own and had to add Will Ferrell to it?

 

It's subtitles or English over dub. You can choose in the menu.

 

Couldn't find the dub/sub-title option.

It may be due to netflix package belonging to SIL, we're occasional borrowers.


EDIT: I was looking for series specific options, the switch may be higher the menu hierarchy, I'll need to check....

 

I think mine shows o when you start the show.

 

Binged watch the 3 seasons of Mrs. Maisel ....definitely worth the watch.

 

One of my favorites. Just finished binge watching Outlander. Loved it!!
