Netflix. What to watch?

Yes, gets much better, first season was the weakest.

 

Good series. The t&a was done well, with some very nice samples.

Finally started watching The Expanse on Prime. It's really well done for the budget it has.

 

Watched the "Ballad of Lefty Brown" a week or so ago, Bill Pullman was very good in it. It's a western so Broome won't like it.

Started watching "The IT Crowd". It's pretty good british nerd comedy

 

Finished Ozark season 3. Good series. Looking forward to season 4. Hope they don’t take forever to get it out like they did with season 3.

 

Dude, it takes a while to film all this shit and then edit it together and then publish.

It will take the same time as last for another season.

WRT Ozarks. Only through 2 eps of season 3. This show is good and annoying. I just want Jason Bateman to launder money in peace. Is that too much to ask

 

WTF is up with Netflix and so many damn non-English shows? I don’t remember it being like that till a few months ago.

It pisses me off when the preview and story looks awesome, then I go to watch it and it’s dubbed over voice bullshit, and their mouths don’t match the words. I hate that shit.

 

Did the words match their mouths in the preview?

 

It seems like most of the previews are random flashes of scenes, being narrated in the background.

There are some where the people actually talk in the previews, but not a lot.

I normally have to click to watch it, then fast forward to a scene with 2 people in it, and wait for them to talk to each other.

 

Watched Slow Western last night. Good movie, different take on a western.

 

Maybe the studios (Disney) starting their own streaming services has cut back their inventory.

 

FWIW - one of my favorite Netflix shows to date was one like that - Money Heist I believe it's called. Spanish show about a bank heist - awesome writing, great production value, lots of plot twists... but yeah, took me a while to come to terms with the dubbing.

 

I hate dubbing, I always watch with subtitles.
