I can’t decide who I like more, Tom or Greg. They might be the most ackward and cringiest characters on TV.
Not Netflix, but rather Apple TV+ (got a free year sub with an Apple 4K box), was watching this last night, its been out for a while but never got around to it. Pretty good flick. https://tv.apple.com/us/movie/greyhound/umc.cmc.o5z5ztufuu3uv8lx7m0jcega
I just watched the movie, 1984, for the first time. And the last time. It was a good movie but was a bit disappointed because I had mentally-spliced a TV commercial scene, that I saw during my childhood, into the movie's ending (that of the female running and swinging a hammer at the large TV screen, thereby waking those damned sheep fools up. Lol). But we are talking about a George Orwell movie, so the ending, much like Animal Farm, was no triumph of humanity's free will. Some hash tags from the movie that I had to google: #artsem #ingsoc #vicman #minrec #doubleplus
late to the party, but it's definitely a good watch. Interesting fact, it's Eugene Levy's son and daughter in the show, and the entire cast is Canadian.
I'm almost through the last season now and its funny how Greg seemed to just be a small figure in the beginning and how he just keeps staying in the story haha! He plays the awkward card pretty damn good!
We watched it last night - it was as good as last years if not better. Combine that with the "Don't look up" movie and you have two damning pieces of art imitating real (shitty) life right now.
