Need help getting old CBR started

    Hey BJ! Yeah, I pulled the carbs on an F2 I had maybe 10-12 years ago, don't remember it being too difficult but I'll look into the carb boots. Given the additional age of this one they will probably be a nightmare. Maybe we can do a few (easy) rides this summer!

    Btw: Great story on the F2 repair, seems like it's often something simple like that. I have a similar story, day before a track session at Putnam, I was working on my Miata like crazy to get it finished for the next day. Can't remember why but I had a breaker bar on the main pulley bolt on the crankshaft. Forgot I left it there and started the car up. Tremendous loud clanking sound ensued and son of a bitch, I broke the thermostat housing clean off. Had to scramble and luckily a local Miata guy had the part to fix it, was up to like 3AM getting that fixed as well. Ah, the lengths we go to for a track day! :)
