My Taxes Went Down!

So, I guess the new tax laws hit my paycheck today. Federal withholding went down about $100.00/month. Makes me happy. Anybody else?

Same here, $100 per paycheck. I am concerned that may be too much, might need to tweak my W4

 

I just checked and definitely have a few more rounds of beers in there this time.

 

The nerve, taking even more money out of the hands of illegal dreamers.

 

I'll be using it to buy cases of Modelo for the block Just kidding, those dudes drink a shitload of Miller Lite and Coors Light.

 

I can't look...the guilt will kill me if I have more money!

 

I guess I would have to bother looking at a pay stub to know. I'm sure the wife will let me know at tax time next year.

 

Well dang, yep...the government is taking less of my money it appears. Well I guess there are illegal aliens out there "dreaming" of taking my money so I better give it away I mean I feel guilty and such.

No change for me. My stub covers from 1/15 to 1/31. Are you all paid "ahead"? My federal tx withholding is exactly the same. Hopefully the next stub includes more.

 

Hmm. My witholding went up. I guess I'm not average.

 

Must not be middle class.

 

My take home from 1/1-15 was unchanged. 1/16-31 was higher.

 

What is this ""take home"" of which you speak?

I might get paid if the business grows another 20%.

 

Mine is exactly the same, down to the penny. I'll wait till the next check and see if anything changes. If it doesn't I'm gonna have to ask "WTF". Higher or lower, something should have changed if only a tiny bit.

 

I'm hoping some of you realize that take home and tax liability are not the same.
