FC at 3 with CYA at 60 is way too low. My 5PPM is actually at the lower end of the target for my level of CYA.

I can promise, with certainty, if you give any decent financial guy that money he will pay your energy bills every year.

And you'll never replace an expensive battery pack.

    I've been lucky.

I've had a house with an inground pool and also a house on the water with a boat.

House with a pool in the backyard in Michigan is 10x less problems if you know what you're doing.

If you work a lot like me the pool in yard was much easier than a boat..and dock...and all the other shit that comes with that.

Simply put, the party comes to you.

La Quinta Calif, is the same as AZ.
Gotta have the pool, and your right house price is the same.
Even a small pool just to sit & sip...
    Matienance?
Why bother ....just hire a pool guy. Any your problems are solved...if you don't want to do it yourself and you don't want to spend 100 - 150 a month for a pool guy then don't get the pool. When all between the pool guy and electricity and gas add $200 your monthly budget per month to enjoy a pool.

cant comment on battery life but the rough #s on it worked out to 35 years not accounting for credits & power generation offsets. Thats 2 shingle roof life cycles and spray foam $$$ with ~$70k left over

I don't understand why this pool never warms up with temps at 110/120 degrees in PS.

My brother paid $134k 9 years ago.
Same size unit just sold for $321k...he has the only unit with a private pool.

    Sunrise Palms, Palm Springs.

The shade, bro. My pool used to need the heater to get to 86-88F but my neighbor and I cut down all the trees in the backyard and now it's full sunlight all day.
