Oh shit, Luthi is finally departing from Moto2? Feels like he's been there since its inaugural year. I thought Yonny was still riding for Pedercini in WSBK? https://www.gpone.com/en/2018/01/22...powder-from-tuesday-with-the-jerez-tests.html Pedercini, on the other hand, will entrust the ZX-10RR to Yonny Hernandez, whose name has come up several times as a sub for Folger in Sepang on the team Tech3 M1.
not Chili Could he be the 2nd coming of SuperSIC? Same riding gear, same country, almost the same hair even, satellite Honda team too.
Wow, the bikes sure are ugly these days. How soon before they have the front and rear tires covered with bodywork and wings?
FINALLY it'll be funny to see what Yonny can or can't do on the Tech3 bike in one test. after all, its the bike that Rossi and Mav both won on last year and is better than anything hes ever ridden. but after that, ill stop caring. theres no way hes racing the entire season w/ them. there are regs about how much of the tires can be covered and how far the bodywork can extend past or over the tires.
How so? Also, more bodywork surface means more area to stick sponsorship logos Not to mention aerodynamics are crucial when you are trying to gain an advantage over the competition. Could always be worse...remember when Yamaha was trying to keep their 2-stroke relevant against the more powerful 4-strokes that first year of MotoGP so they stuck a Hayabusa fairing on the front of it lolol.
Rossi did say if Morbidelli ever got into motogp he would be "a problem" . That sounds like excitement to me!
Bunch of the hungry moto2 "kids" on big bikes now and it's going to be interesting. Even more so now that there are more and more competitive bikes on the grid. Happy for Luthi to finally get a shot. Always thought he would have moved up a lot sooner. Maybe I always pulled for him because of the number though lol. can't wait. Gonna be an awesome year.
Wasn't really Yamaha but WCM but yeah, it was a Yamaha stink wheel and it was ugly but they scored some points.
Well obviously, I just meant with respect to the hype and excitement...and even results Marco generated once he hit his stride.
