13 Scott Redding (Pramac) Last year into his deal (2017) $700,000
14 Sam Lowes (Aprilia Gresini) Promoted from Moto2 to MotoGP signing 1 year deal $300,000

Alvaro is out there putting his ass on the line for an unmentionable salary. Wonder if its $XXXXXXXXXXX minus damages = salary?

I doubt those numbers are 100% accurate, rather a good guess based on little actual info.

I'm honestly surprised Pedrosa is as low as he is.

If these numbers are right, I know a Canadian Superbike rider making more money than some of these guys

And that might even be a raise from Pedrosa's previous contract. He had some leverage last year with the insurgency surrounding Maverick. Two years before that, he took a big pay cut to save his seat after Marquez confirmed that he was the real deal.

But keep in mind that even if some of those numbers are more or less on trade, they don't really mean much if we don't know what can of bonuses are paid for race wins, for instance. Lots of guys won races last year. On a smaller base salary, that might be a big percentage.

There was an article a few years back on that. He had to take a huge salary cut in order to stay at Repsol Honda. He was no longer the #1 rider and some other shit.

OK, yea....I take that back. There IS something surprising in that list.

One podium in 4 years at Tech 3 sure has a high price tag........at least his teammate is a Moto2 champion. Best Brad could manage was 7th.
