They have 4 times the horsepower, 4 tires with huge contact patches, and massive amounts of downforce. Not surprising at all.

Watching an F1 car brake from a straight into a corner is quite an experience.

Watching one of those Redbull cars throwing sparks literally all the way through the esses was ridiculous, bouncing all the way through them.

Crazy that it is only a 30 second difference. I would expect closer to a minute.

Cota was designed first and foremost as a car track. It has no flow for a bike track so hence the lap time difference.

Indy cars are about 15 seconds a lap slower than F1 cars

    +1 for surprised it's only 30 seconds.

  16. Just like watching a top fuel drag car, wether you are a fan of F1 or not its a must see in person to really get a feel of how fast they are actually going. It is quite insane, here's to hoping the car changes for 2021 make for better racing because currently it sucks ass.

Yet the GP bikes have a 14 MPH top speed advantage over an F1 car....they accelerate faster.

I love the video with the F1 Ferrari, 550 Ferrari, and the Fiat 500...MS reading the paper while the other cars are running their laps. :D
