For that sensor ? I doubt that they would place a sensor that can fail even if new in a place where the seals need to be broken to change.
Plus, where would they place a exhaust temp sensor inside the engine? It’s more than likely placed on the header and should be easily swapped out.

 

Yeah, I would think it’s gotta be a port or a bung in the header pipe. If it’s something else, really no harm in tearing one of the two suspect failed ones and taking a closer look for anything. Not like they will use those ones again anyway. They just can’t make any changes to the others but at least they can gain some piece of mind etc.

 

You would think that if the flywheel can be made external, an exhaust sensor is swappable.

Soooo. Am deserved a gp ride cause he was a moto2 champ? Hes so good that he hadn’t even raced yet and he was demoted. No other team had interest in him. Zero. If you think his brother didn’t have anything to do with him getting that ride you are nuts.

Basically I am asking what YOUR criteria is? Right now, based on actual facts, not your emotions, I don't see your logic.

Of the listed riders with Moto2 Championships, hes sitting higher than Zarco, Morbidelli, Bagnaia and Rabat. Only PEspargaro and Rossi, who also have middle class titles are ahead in points.

He was NEVER going to be there more than this year. They had NOBODY else available to give the ride to. I don't see what is so hard about that.....

I doubt they're withdrawing engines from the allocation and using 5 over 2 weekends because of a sensor. The only factory to use more than 2, and all 4 riders have..
