Watching the race live, I saw a Duc come up the inside of Binder, but I thought a later replay showed they weren't close. This video confirmed they weren't close at all. Either he tucked the front, which I don't see, or he just freaked out way too much. It's too bad, as I'd have liked to have seen what he and Oliveira could do on those KTM's.

I pinged him a short while ago and he said he's doing well. I can't blame him for wanting to take a vacation from some of the "colorful" characters that linger here.

 

If Yamaha can't fix their engine issue, Dovi may effectively be leading the points right now.

 

I don't mind Dovi's chances at it going into some of the tracks coming up. Although Fabio (and yamaha) did well at the redbull ring last year, Brno was tough. We'll see what happens. Going to be an exciting year I think.

The engine concerns are something that could play out later though....
