Can't Moto2 bikes run in BSB this year on a trial basis?

 

Moto2 bikes already have been for a few years now as a sub-class ran together with the regular 600SS class. They had the CBR600RR engine though.

This year they are attempting to ease rules/open things up and trial the Duc 959 Pani twin and the 765 Triumph triple (with Moto@ currently uses as their spec engine as you likely already know) to bring back manufacturers, add diversity, etc... and see if it works in WSS.

Sooooo with two opening Qatar rounds, will we get one under the lights and one finally during the day? I bet you’ll get different results doing that.

 

Both Qatar rounds are at night.

 

I wish they’d split it.

 

Last time they ran in the day we had our first glimpse of CS#1 dominance (well, that 800 Duc could really fly too!).

 

I wish they would sack that venue altogether.
