This is why I'm a Rossi fanboy. Its easy for these guys to lose their motivation after they've earned a couple championships, millions of euros and rockstar status. Rossi keeps coming back, year after year, with the same fire, preparation and enthusiasm. IMHO, that is a very rare quality.

I'd really like to see a strong performance from 46 this weekend. Makes the overall watching experience better for (those of us) fans.

I'd like to see Quarteraro and/or Morbidellis do well.

Would love to see one of the Asperagus boys do well. Like 'em both, but Pol seems on a roll.

JLo? Want to see him recover some form so he's competitive. Definitely a fly in the ointment and adds to the show when he's an Alien. Hate seeing a top talent down in the weeds even if he's a jerk!

 

Whenever this race rolls around on the calendar I think of Louis Salom.

And to the Morbidelli picture posted, the first thing I noticed was the Bieffe sticker on the fairing. That was the first helmet I ever wore when I got my first bike. A 1973 Honda CB400F.

 

I had a Bieffe helmet when I got my Vespa in 1986.

 

I predict a Spanish rider will win in two of the three races this weekend.
