Reading between the lines of Toni’s interview “the team and I tried hard, but the bike is a turd right now”.

 

The worst thing GG could of done is push it to the point where CB1 or he crashed so he did the smart thing for sure. I for sure think that if Cam got pushed harder, he would have laid down the fastest lap of the weekend to stay in the lead. So yeah, we missed out on 2 guys racing at 100% for a win, but strategy wise they did exactly what they should have.

On the spec tire, its pretty apparent the gixxer is not working. It would be really interesting if tires were open and yosh could pick something complimentary.
