Have been looking at production bike weight and hp claims between the FZ07, KZ650, SV650 and the KTM twin. Close. Will be interesting to see what development brings. Hope the bodywork makers are all over this already.
As funny as that might be, and might even attract new fans, I don't think the safety risk would be worth it. That road rash can be a bitch.
Why do so many people want to see junk motorcycles race? Do you have any idea how fn inadequate the suspensions are on these motorcycles?
Cuz ppl don't know any better? I'm not stoked on the class at all and I think it's a bad move for MA. The class will prob die in a few years after being filled with amateur nobodies and not building the MA fan base at all. But oh wells, nothing I can do about it. I might as well speculate w silly ideas about the rules hehe.
I'm well aware. But he was calling for a bellypan and a numberplate. It would be downright dangerous. Especially on that rubber.
i was commenting on prev posts about bodywork manufactures getting on top of this class. i was not referring to overall spec. u read too far into what i typed.
Worse, I'd reckon. If that class was a good idea (in practice or theory) it'd still be around. Hard to tell who MA is trying to attract with the new class. Bucketlisters? Developing racers?
