There's a good write up in the newest RRW about what the Graves guys are doing to theirs.

 

We really just need a cost capped vendor approved parts list for aftermarket things.

It's ok to spend $850 on a slipper but not $290 on a M/C.

It's ok to spend $800+ on a fuel/qs module + tuning but don't you dare change the air filter/remove that snorkel!

 

there already is a homologated parts list and everything expensive is cost-capped.

its likely that the slipper rule is concerned with parity between the diff bikes, not cost-cutting.

 

Altus Motorsports is putting together a well sorted one too.

 

Any of you guys running the R3 in the junior cup? I have some questions I would like to clarify.

 

Who sells R3 head gaskets other than Graves?

 

Am I reading right that only HM QS only?
Is the WSS300 what the Junior cup is based on?
In regards to the Junior cup ecu software Im not understanding which companies flash can be used.

HM only QS
WSS300 and Junior very similar
MA technical person told me that as of right now only flashtune flashing is allowed but expect Woolich to be also.

 

cometic. That being said, I'd bite the bullet and buy the Graves gasket.

 

Its only because Graves can not ship until Monday
