Damn.....!! I'm going to venture to say 2011 will not be a good year for new bike sales and maybe 2012 I can get a huge discount on the leftovers? I can elaborate into the economy but that would be a dungen thread!
Looks kinda portly from the front. Graphic and headlight features don't exactly set the world on fire, as it were... I wonder why the 750 didn't get the graphics under the 'R' ? We'll see what Eslick can do with it next year...
The cost difference to manufacture them is minimal, and they're got to recoup their R&D expenses somehow.
The dollar was a lot stronger a few years ago. 2006-01 1 dollar = 117.88 yen 2010-10 1 dollar = 83.21 yen
weird thought Manotti's redlined at 14k maybe there finally stating REAL redlines since the "R6" came out and the whole 17,5 thing the 600 has black forks and 750 has gold and no graphic.
with only a $400 price difference I would think only racers will buy the 600, why would a street rider buy that and not the 750. Sort of like back in 88 when yamaha came out with the fzr 400 that cost as much as the fzr 600 .
The 600 will still have slightly better insurance rates than the 750. But realistically, if I were buying a new Suzuki next year it would definitely be the 750. Maybe Suzuki is trying to resurrect the 750 class.
I can't help wondering if they cut corners getting this out. Or maybe they used the extra time perfecting it!
