With its roots in 2-stroke bikes, why doesn't Suzuki currently make a 125 or 250 GP bike? hmmmmmm.....
Good question, don't know. Kawasaki had the KR250 for a bit that Eddie Lawson won the 1981 250 GP on, but other than that, Kawasaki has stayed out of the market, too. Probably just don't wanna spend the money on a tiny market. Not sure about Honda, but to cut costs, Yamaha has always based production racers on tooling for existing street bikes. The TZRs are the current basis, the RDs were the base model for the older TZs. Perhaps Kaw and Suzuki don't have existing streetbikes suitable for this? I know Suzuki had the RGV street stuff, though. Jack
