I had a 1000. Biggest POS I ever owned. 1000 miles after I bought it, the cams flattened. Everything went downhill from there.

A buddy had a white '93, that was an awesome bike. I borrowed it a lot.

Had a '98 I bought new and installed a Wolf dual underseat exhaust system...lord that bike sounded good! Too bad I totaled it at Mid-Ohio in 2001...

I bought a '93 brand new, rode it for 7 years and sold it for just $400 less than I paid. Wish I never had sold it. Only bike I left stock, except for Euro rear turn signal conversion. Even kept the nifty side stand cowl on it.
Bought a yellow 2000 VFR800. Kept it 5 years and traded for a 2004 VFR800. Very short time with it as I just didn't get long with it. So snagged a '02 FZ-1 which I still have.

Ground the shit out of the peg and the centerstand...until eventually the centerstand won in the keyhole.

Ah, bought a new first year 83, red and white, $3750 OTD. 86 hp. Seriously nice bike, which I still had it.

I saw this bike again, another free dealer car wash on out old Pilot.
It's actually a '98, and a pic of the 'linked brake system' too! I'm sure you can figure it out.
