Mint '01 GSXR 600 on BAT

Thought some guys might appreciate this throw back. Really dig the old school color combo too. Much nostalgia for me

I sold mine last year during Cooofid for 3500. Original owner, clean clear title.

Kinda wish i still had it that bike was great but I never ride it and was taking up garage space. Dude that bought it basically hugged me had had wanted a clean one for so long.

 

i just sold the same bike in a 1k. the nostalgia ? that was my last bike lol. was still a lot of fun even if it was over 20yrs old! i find bikes now look almost similar anyway - huge difference between this 01 and a bike 20yrs older vs that bike and now.

 

That was the year they changed the 600.

I'd still love a 750 SRAD from late 90's.

 

Say what? Every GSXR ever made looks like this?

Until some squid in shorts, flip flops, tank top, No Regerts tattoo and an Icon helmet bins it doing a 12 oclock wheelie in a walmart parking lot at 2 am. On a tuesday.

 

Fixed that for ya.

This one at Mid O Vintage a few years back. I've been looking at bikes for my son...there are plenty of this Gen still available for a decent price.

 

If imma ride something that looks like that, it’s gonna be a tiller.

 

Wife and I took the plunge in the fall of 2000 to become a Suzuki dealer, that was the first model year we sold. The hype around the 1000 made sales easy, it was the hp king for a few years. I had a 02 750 that I raced for a season, sweet handling bike.

 

One might say I have mixed feelings.

 

With BNG?

 

They're a lot of fun until they high side you to the moon

 

If that was a blue and white 01 1k.....or the red and black 02.... I'd spend the money for a mint low mileage unit.
