Machine shop services-Detroit area

Hey all. I may be rebuilding a 72 Honda CB350 engine, and am looking for a trustworthy shop to A) bore the cylinders to match new pistons, and possibly B) do a valve job on the head. Nothing performance related, just standard engine work. Let me know who you can recommend in the Detroit area. Not opposed to sending things out, but would prefer within an hour or two driving distance. Thanks.

PS IF anyone knows a good source for parts for this thing (pistons/rings/gaskets), that would be appreciated as well.

 

These guys: https://bore-tech.com/ no longer do machine work sadly, I believe due to the passing of the owner but it looks like they still have parts and may have what you need. Being in OH a phone call might net you a reference to a good machinist as well.

They make me all kids of shit every year or two for my heavy equipment. Pricing is very reasonable and they still have a couple 70yr. Old dudes that do stuff old school.
