Feeling a bit sorry for DP and his situation, but guess that is a part of the game, he will be able to retire with a few spare dollars

Just had a chance to watch the race. Best MotoGP race in ages. Excellent from start to finish...

The Ducati's improvement over the off season is simply amazing. Clearly their biggest advantage is from the extra fuel. The acceleration in 5th and 6th gear is astounding. Dovi ran a great race. Truly inspired bit of riding, but at the end of the day....Rossi wanted it more than Dovi.

Yeah, it's going to be sad to see Honder Old Yeller Pedrosa but HRC seems to have the loyalty of a viper.

Tell that to Nicky. Honda's loyalty is to the Repsol money.

Moto3 is nuts! Eight laps to go and ALL of the points positions are in one big pack.

Awesome race - nothing new there! Love seeing those kids (mostly) go at it - you can literally see them go from management mindset to "time to win this bitch" mode when they cross the line with three laps to go.

Moto2 was the only real anticlimactic race but even that one had a crazy finish.

    Todays losers:

    1. Sam Lowes - aka bowling ball Bautista Jr - fack man keep it on 2 wheels.
    2. Zarco - not a big fan of his but gutted for him - that's gotta feel like a kick in the cherries for sure.
    3. Dani - never good to see a talent like that sidelined for any reason. The midget has toughness despite his bad Rep.

He's got a contract till end of next year.

Funny thought: he misses a bunch of races, but comes back competitive. Honda re-signs him for 2016-2017.

Ummm. They have 24 liters in 2015 just as they did last year.

Yeah, contracts in racing, worth their weight in excrement.

Dovi used his to force HRC to give him a third factory bike, and Nakamoto didn't even like Dovi, but he's got a soft spot for Pedrosa.

Did he just sign another one before this year. I thought Honda only did 2 year contracts and I thought he signed before last year.

So what was it the the Joker knocked loose on the 'priller? After the hit you could see something like a wire hanging off the left side.

    +1. Unbelievable.

Rossi's racecraft sees him continue as the Goat, Ducati put two shots across the bow of every factory in the game, and no Hondas on the podium...

And telemetry shots of a Duc pulling 355 km/hr! Dovi didn't even seem to need a draft on the straights...you know Crutchlow's wondering WTF.

It's gonna be a good season. Someone invite Stoner to the party and lets get some racin' on.

Probably, then many liters of wine consumed followed by 3 days of repenting to the Catholic church.

  19. Do you know how much fuel they actually used in the race?

After today it'll matter a little more - the first stage of penalties is the fuel cut down to 22L I believe. Ryder said today on the British telecast that Gigi and Ducati couldn't give a shit about that as they consistently finished with plenty of fuel. Whether or not that's just gamesmanship or not is yet to be known. By the way that thing flew down the front straight from 5th-6th gear, it has to be eating dead dinosaurs at a high rate - just damn! They went pretty damn good all race long on the medium tires too - recording some of the fastest laps at the end so if they get thrown back in to Factory status I'd guess they'll still fare well with the new GP15.
